MFT Card Design Superstar: Innovation Master

Image
Hello, crafty friends! Welcome to Prima Crafts Blog. Today I'm sharing Donut Shaker Box Card. I'm entering this card to MFT Card Design Superstar "Innovation Master" Category. The front is simple with the words and sentiment. Since it is so simple, so I die cut the words DONUT with MFT Stitched Alphabet  and made it as a window for the shaker. I put 3 colors of mini Prills, I thought the soft colors of the prills were maybe like sweet sugars?! And then it became a Donut Box Top. When you open it, you will find cute chef from MFT Recipe for Happiness  and sentiment from MFT Donuts and Sprinkles   I used stitched rounded rectangles stax  for the box top. The Donuts are all time my favorite. This was my first die set from MFT!!! I used the Nuvo Crystal Drops for the topping of the donuts. Actually I made 3 cards. My girl is showing this card here at YouTube It shakes, it opens, that would be good enough to enter Innovation

MFT Card Design Superstar: Clean and Simple Genius

Image
Hello! Welcome to Prima Crafts Blog. Are you already entered MFT Card Design Superstar 2017? Today, I'm entering this card to Clean and Simple Genius category. I mainly used MFT Space Explorer stamp set for this card. I stamped this cute astronaut with MFT Hybrid Licorice ink  and then colored with copic. I cut out 3 little windows with Stitched Rounded Rectangle stax  and colored with distress blending tool. After it dried, I stamped some stars and others with unicorn white ink. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" sentiment is from Birthday Bears  and "It's Your Day" from Hog Heaven . I don't usually make CAS card, so I tried my best to simplify. After I finished my card, I thought I was missing something, so added silver glitter strip and made the white parts stand out little more. Thank you so much for stopping by! You have couple more days to submit your cards to Card Design Superstar★ Happy crafting! Love,  Yukiko

About ME

Hello, my name is Yukiko living in Japan. I'm a mother of 2 girls, 7years and 4 years old, a wife, a flower artist and always Card Maker and passionate crafter. I encountered card making in Chicago, where our family used to live. I was shocked when I took my first card lesson in Paper Source. I used to make cards by my own with paper punches and paper goods or stickers that are already made, but I found infinite possibility with stamps and die cutting. Then you know, I just deeply in love with it! Card making makes me HAPPY and I would love to share the joy with you! I have blogged since 2009 about my life, flower works and cards in Japanese. primafleur.exblog.jp But I now have lots of crafty friends in the world, I decided to make one in English. Thanks so much for visiting. Happy crafting!!!!
